Hello everyone, I've been lurking for a while reading all the posts and looking at the restored burners - well impressive! :D

Back in the day I had a Super Burner which I gradually upgraded with different bits and then got myself a dp firebird freestyler frame & forks which I built up with the burner bits. Eventually I let the whole lot go for 50 quid to a bloke my dad knew. Don't know what happened to the super burner frame & forks, probably to the tip. Bugger! :(

Anyway, I've just bought my first bmx for twenty odd/thirty years and wondered if I could have some advice from you guys (probably should have asked before I bought but nevermind) - I'll post in the general section if that's OK..?

Thanks for reading... :)

Thanks for the replies chaps...

Yep, it would be pretty cool to build a dp but they seem pretty pricey these days - if only I'd kept the old one! Bugger! (again).

Thanks for your welcome 750Rush.

I bought that Extra Burner that was on ebay last week - I was looking for a reasonably priced rider that I could have a bit of a dabble with and this seemed to fit the bill.

Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, all parts seem original except maybe brake levers, it's got the usual rusty cranks & rims, paintwork's not bad but I think there's probably a few too many scuffs and scrapes to just leave it as it is.

I'll get some photos up soon...
